There are numerous reports of a major power outage reported across Iran, sparking theories about its suspected interference in American elections. Iran blackout is going viral on social media.

Several videos are being posted online alleging that in different Iranian cities there has been a huge blackout. The video shows streets, apartment complexes, factories, and highways without electricity.

A video citing local reports reported that different cities in Iran had been hit by major blackouts. Across the country, heating systems and traffic lights are down.

There has, however, been no official comment on the Iranian regime’s blackouts.

Theories about Iran blackout

Several social media users have now sparked a theory that the blackouts may have been a covert operation.

“So it’s a coincidence that Pakistan, Vatican, and Iran have all had blackouts this week and they are the three countries that interfere in our election?,” a Twitter user said.

Users of social media also pointed to the timing of the blackouts that coincided with the announcement made by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in which he said Al-Qaeda had a new home base in Iran.

“Al-Qaeda has a new home base. It is the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Pompeo said in a speech at the National Press Club.

“I would say Iran is indeed the new Afghanistan – as the key geographic hub for al-Qaeda – but it’s actually worse,” he said. “Unlike in Afghanistan, when al-Qaeda was hiding in the mountains, al-Qaeda today is operating under the hard shell of the Iranian regime’s protection.”

Vatican blackout was trending on Twitter earlier this week after theories connected it to Italy’s involvement in the US presidential election 2020.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s power outage is being blamed on a “technical glitch” that plunged many Pakistani cities into darkness, including the capital, Islamabad. Internet access in the country also allegedly crashed after the outage.

Pakistan’s Power Minister Omar Ayub Khan said that a technical fault caused the grid to automatically shut down. He, however, added that there was no clarity as to what exactly caused the power outage, reported VOA News.

Dominion Voting Systems’ server connected to Iran?

A former military intelligence analyst claims to have “unambiguous evidence” that the Dominion Voting Systems servers were both accessible to and compromised by rogue actors like Iran and China thanks to digital forensic analysis.

The claim appeared in an affidavit that accompanied attorney Sidney Powell’s 75-page lawsuit against officials in Michigan including Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and the Board of State Canvassers. The complaint, which was filed on November 25, says the affidavit was authored by an ex-electronics intelligence analyst who is in the 305th U. S. Military Intelligence Battalion and allegedly shows that “the Dominion software was accessed by agents acting on behalf of China and Iran in order to monitor and manipulate elections, including the most recent U.S. general election in 2020.” (More detail)
