Chinese nuclear bombers enters Taiwan’s airspace as fears of war emerge

Four H-6 bombers, which can carry nuclear weapons, were also among the Chinese aircraft entering Taiwan air space.

Taiwan’s military was dispatched after 19 Chinese aircraft, including nuclear-capable bombers, entered its air defense identification zone, according to the defense ministry.

Taiwan dispatched combat aircraft to warn off Chinese advances while also monitoring them with missile systems. Ten J-16 and four Su-30 fighters, as well as an anti-submarine aircraft, were reported by the ministry.

Reportedly four H-6 bombers, which can carry nuclear weapons, were also among the Chinese aircraft.

Taiwan reported the latest incursion into its airspace on Sunday. Just last week, the ministry warned that the threat from China was increasing.

According to a recent annual report released by Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense, China’s military is capable of neutralizing its defenses through “soft and hard electronic attacks.”

Last week, Taiwan’s Defense Ministry warned that the threat from China was escalating, claiming that China’s armed forces can “paralyze” Taiwan’s defenses and monitor its deployments in real time.

This report revealed that the situation is deteriorating, despite the fact that the previous report stated that China lacked the capability to launch an attack.

Taiwan is a democratically governed country, but China claims sovereignty over the island and has stated intentions to merge it with the mainland.

Tensions between China and Taiwan have been rising as Beijing has suggested invading their island neighbor.

In the case of Taiwan, China has not ruled out the use of force to achieve a desirable goal.

This is not the first time China has violated Taiwan’s airspace.

Over the past year, the island has been subjected to numerous missions by China’s air force, with the majority of them taking place in the southwestern part near the Taiwan-controlled Pratas Islands.

The previous incident occurred on June 15, when 28 Chinese air force planes entered Taiwan’s airspace.

This is the largest incursion reported thus far by Taiwan’s defense ministry.
