A married Michigan couple who were both fully vaccinated against COVID-19 died of the virus within one minute of each other.

Despite taking precautions and being inoculated against the virus, Cal Dunham, 59, and his wife Linda, 66, ‘gained their angel wings’ on Sunday, according to relatives.

The couple, who had undisclosed underlying health issues, became ill during a family camping trip earlier this month, according to the couple’s grieving daughter Sarah Dunham.

‘[My dad] called me before our family camping trip and said he wasn’t feeling good but he thinks it’s just like sinus, and [Linda] caught it and she’s like, he gave me his cold,’ she told Fox17.

‘The third day they woke me up and said, “We’ve got to go because we don’t feel well.” So I packed them all up and they left.’

Within days, the couple was admitted to the hospital and placed on ventilators. Both had pre-existing medical conditions.

Cal died at 11:07 a.m., and his wife died at 11:08 a.m., while they were holding hands.

The daughter told the station that her mother would joke around that she would be right behind her husband if something were to ever happen to him.

“And she really was, like she really was right there behind him,” she said.

Reportedly, both took Covid-19 very seriously, and “did everything to protocol the way it should be done,” but they still succumbed to the virus.

Cal Dunham added a border to his Facebook profile picture on May 15 to reflect receiving his vaccine.
