President Donald Trump stated on Monday morning that there will be “big news” in Pennsylvania as he contests the election outcome in the commonwealth.
“Big news coming out of Pennsylvania,” Trump tweeted. “Very big illegal ballot drop that cannot be accounted for. Rigged Election!”
It’s not clear if the president was referring to the appeal that his campaign filed on Sunday in the U.S. Supreme Court.
Trump’s campaign’s lawsuit is attempting to reverse three cases decided by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that “illegally changed” the mail-in ballot laws “immediately before and after the 2020 presidential election.” The lawyers contended that the Supreme Court’s decisions are in violation of Article II of the Constitution and the 2000 Bush v. Gore ruling.
“The Campaign’s petition seeks to reverse three decisions, which eviscerated the Pennsylvania Legislature’s protections against mail ballot fraud,” said Rudy Giuliani, attorney for President Donald Trump, in the report he released.
The Trump campaign also claims that the impact of the Pennsylvania court’s decision was of “national importance” and could violate the U.S. Constitution.
‘We’re getting closer and closer’ to successful challenge to election results
Earlier, President Trump said on Sunday that “we’re getting closer and closer,” in reference to his ongoing challenges to election results in key battleground states.
“We’re getting closer and closer. And I hope you let everybody know we’re actually very close,” Trump said on WABC radio.
“The fake news will not tell you that. They don’t want to talk about it. They’re trying to suppress it. We don’t have freedom of the press at all. It’s suppressed news. It’s a terrible thing that’s happened in our country. It’s been going on for, it started a long time ago, but it’s gotten to a point, it’s a terrible thing. It’s not freedom of the press, and we got to bring that back, because the press is so suppressed. It’s so dishonest. I don’t even call it fake news anymore. I call it corrupt news,” he added.
A forensic report on 16 Dominion Voting machines in Antrim County, Michigan, found that the machines were intentionally programmed to create massive voting errors meant to affect the outcome of the election.
The Allied Security Operations Group concluded in their audit of the county’s machines – where over 6,000 votes mysteriously flipped from Trump to Biden – that the Dominion Voting machines were set at a 68.05% error rate, meaning 68.05% of ballots had to have been sent offsite to be counted by people in another location.
“The machines, number one, and every machine we’ve looked at, you know what the results there have been,” Trump said.
“The machines and also the signature verifications. Let us see the signatures in Fulton County in Georgia, and a couple of other places, let us see the signatures, you’ll find that hundreds of thousands of signatures either don’t exist or were fraudulently written.”
