The Supreme Court on Monday formally rejected two of Sidney Powell’s lawsuits that challenged the results of the Nov. 3 election. One lawsuit was filed in Wisconsin and the other in Arizona.
“The petitions for writs of mandamus are denied,” the court said.
“A submission directly to this Court seeking an extraordinary writ of mandamus is unusual, but it has its foundation. While such relief is rare, this Court will grant it ‘where a question of public importance is involved, or where the question is of such a nature that it is peculiarly appropriate that such action by this Court should be taken,’” one of Powell’s mandamus petitions said.
The court made the announcement on Monday morning. Justices Alito, Gorsuch, and Thomas dissented from the denial.
Last Monday the United States Supreme Court refused to review the Pennsylvania 2020 Election cases.
Sidney Powell did not appear to have posted a comment about Supreme Court’s decision on her Telegram page on Monday.
Kraken cases of Sidney Powell
While still working for the Trump campaign, Powell confirmed that the election had been stolen. She brought “Kraken” lawsuits to court, which demanded that state election officials in key battleground states throw out the results.
“The fraud was executed by many means, but the most fundamentally troubling, insidious, and egregious is the systemic adaptation of old-fashioned ‘ballot-stuffing,’” Powell’s suit alleged. “It has now been amplified and rendered virtually invisible by computer software created and run by domestic and foreign actors for that very purpose. Mathematical and statistical anomalies rising to the level of impossibilities, as shown by affidavits of multiple witnesses, documentation, and expert testimony evince this scheme across the state of Georgia.
Powell also claimed “massive election fraud” throughout the state and “multiple violations of the Arizona election laws.”
“The multifaceted schemes and artifices implemented by Defendants and their collaborators to defraud resulted in the unlawful counting, or fabrication, of hundreds of thousands of illegal, ineligible, duplicate or purely fictitious ballots in the State of Arizona, that collectively add up to multiples of Biden’s purported lead in the State of 10,457 votes,” the complaint read.
Sidney Powell: There is more than reverse the election in at least 5 states
On February 26, Attorney Sidney Powell and Retired General Michael Flynn joined Erskine radio for the weekly podcast.
Regarding the election 2020, Sidney Powell had this to say:
“There’s all kind of precedent for fixing what happened in this election from Bush vs. Gore to other cases as well… Fractionalized votes. That’s exactly what we have here from a computer algorithm that we can prove in multiple counties and it could prove across the country if anybody would issue an order allowing inspection of the machines. The very fact that Dominion and other companies are not allowing inspection of the voting machines ought to tell everybody all they need to know. Federal law calls for election records to be kept for 22 months… In this case it requires forensic evaluations of the machines and looking at all of the paper ballots. We already know that’s not going to match up. There were counterfeit ballots. People were saying, “Oh, well they did a full audit in Georgia.” Well, if you just keep running the same counterfeit bill through the same counting machine you’re going to get the same result.”
Sidney then asserted: “There is enough evidence in the cases before them or enough evidence in the public now to more than reverse the election in at least five states.”
And several weeks ago, Powell announced she launched a super PAC dedicated to freedom of speech, Constitutional rights, and “the sacred right of free and fair elections.”
Powell in late January said she created the Restore the Republic Super PAC, which is an independent expenditure-only political action committee that may receive unlimited contributions and may engage in unlimited political spending on initiatives, provided it does not coordinate directly with campaigns or candidates.
“The American people deserve a voice that exposes and rejects the self-interest of political parties, the control of tech giants, and the lies of the fake news,” she said.
Powell, who successfully defended retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, was introduced by the Trump legal team in November, although the team later distanced themselves from her and said she wasn’t working on their behalf.
Meanwhile, Dominion Voting Systems filed a $1.3 billion lawsuit against Powell as well as similar lawsuits against Rudy Giuliani and Mike Lindell. Powell’s lawyer, Lin Wood, implied in statements last month that she did nothing wrong. “Sidney and I will not be intimidated,” Wood said, adding that he and Powell “will not go quietly into the night.”
