A non-profit that gave taxpayer money for a Chinese state-run organization to study viruses, applauded the president’s chief medical adviser for ruling out the pandemic was lab-made.
EcoHealth Alliance (EHA) grant recipients at the Wuhan Institute of Virology greatly appreciated Anthony Fauci’s statement that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus was a natural phenomenon and not a lab experiment that went wrong early in the pandemic.
According to the Washington Examiner, this was the institute’s position based on more than 3,230 pages of emails obtained through the Freedom of Information Act.
“I just wanted to say a personal thank you on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 (CCP Virus) from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” EHA President Peter Daszak said in an email dated April 18, 2020, on page 1,150.
Daszak described the clinician as an American hero whose pro-Beijing views are deeply respected at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
“From my perspective, your comments are brave, and coming from your trusted voice, will help dispel the myths being spun around the virus’s origins,” he said.
In fact, the institute was so pleased with Fauci’s job of influencing the Joe Biden administration that it offered to reward him with special treatment after the CCP Virus pandemic ends.
“Once this pandemic’s over I look forward thanking you in-person and let you know how important your comments are to us all,” Daszak said.
Fauci was only too happy to hear the CCP was pleased with his work.
“Peter: many thanks for your kind note,” he responded in an email dated April 19, 2020 on page 1,150.
