Breaking News Chronology Builder

Sort dated claims, official statements and evidence arrivals into a timeline so updates are not confused with contradictions.

What this doesSort dated claims, official statements and evidence arrivals into a timeline so updates are not confused with contradictions.

Add up to six events. Use the time shown on the source itself when possible.

Method and assumptions

The tool sorts events by timestamp. It does not infer which source was right. Use it to distinguish the time an event occurred, the time a source published, and the time later evidence became available. If those are different, record all three in your notes.

Times should be normalized to one timezone before close comparisons. Screenshots that omit timezone information are weaker than source pages or records with explicit timestamps.

Limits

The “Breaking News Chronology Builder” utility organizes evidence; it does not determine truth automatically.
